The new CompTIA Healthcare IT Technician certification covers the knowledge and skills required to implement, deploy, and support healthcare IT systems in various clinical settings.
The new HIT-001 exam is intended for IT professionals who are already CompTIA A+ certified or have 500 hours of hands-on IT technical experience in the lab or field, plus the knowledge necessary to deploy and support healthcare IT systems. With 75 questions and a 60 minute time period to complete the exam, candidates must receive a passing score 650 on a scale of 100-900.
